Vlinders is a brand created by a two-person team, originally formed as part of a class assignment. Together, we explored the intersection of fashion and faith by developing a line of Islamic streetwear. At the beginning of this project, our production process was completely self-managed. We used Direct to Film (DTF) printing by first designing the artwork, then printing it onto DTF transfer paper, and finally applying the prints onto shirts using a household iron. Despite the limited tools, we were committed to quality and creative expression from day one.
